We have developed a UVC measurement tool here at Cool-Tech to calculate the kill rate from our different power rated lamps for the length of exposure time required or available.
Based on Esherichia coli 8099 the calculator will produce a scatter-graph. By adjusting the room size and distance to surface sliders, you can see the kill rate % for the different power lamp options available over exposure time.

Calculate pathogen kill rates for Cool-Tech UVC lamps. Based on Escherichia coli 8099 reference dose. Adjust room dimensions, lamp height, and pathogen to see kill % across all lamp powers over time.
Kill rate calculated using log-reduction model: Dose (µJ/cm²) = Irradiance × Time. D₁₀ reference for E. coli 8099 = 6,600 µJ/cm². Other pathogens scaled by relative susceptibility ratio. Data sourced from Cool-Tech laboratory testing.
